Story So Far…

Short Cut…

Hi, I'm Vicky. In a seashell, I was born on the coast and raised in the highlands. I’ve been shaped by soulful vinyl and socialist values; radio waves and city beats, ma’s wisdom (hold your head high) and pa’s wisdom (question the story), barefoot adventures in beloved campervans; mountain trails and island sails; backyard feasts and campfire conversations, the dance of motherhood, blessed seasons, unforeseen storms, and a deep desire to live by the rhythms of the surf. Nowadays, in my seaside studio, I support more people to experience simple pleasures and positive ideals by tapping into the power of creative communications and wellbeing coaching.

Long Way Round...

Once upon a tide, I was immersed in a media career at a Scottish radio network. My role combined radio and events production, presenting, voice overs, and, as PA to Programming and Station Directors, I helped senior management stay organised. It was heaps of fun but the urban lifestyle eventually lost its lustre. So I quit my job, sold up, packed up, and took some time out to travel, working around Europe and living out of a camper van for almost a year.

Free-wheelin', I reconnected with a long-held dream. I wanted to earn a living, living by the sea.

One sunny day, I rolled into a cute fishing village on Scotland's beautiful east coast, dropped anchor, and launched Acoustic Wave. Now, within the role of Creative Producer, I'm a voiceover artist, writer, and compulsive celebrant for uplifting brands.

The studio was also born out of a desire to celebrate simple pleasures & positive ideals in everyday life.  It's an ethos I believe can have a ripple effect...

For me, simple pleasures include stirring music & art, inspiring words, nourishing food, good company, and natural beauty.

Also, I'm guided by the positive ideals of thinking globally, acting locally, living honestly, showing gratitude, and being the change.

With this in mind, my clients have included national charities, leading brands, award-winning festivals, small businesses, musicians, artists, and village artisans. I especially love working with people whose ideals, purpose, services, and products go beyond profit - towards creating a positive impact in our communities and on our planet.

Now, more than ever, I believe we need to create opportunities for human-to-human communication, creativity, and connection. So in early 2026, I also completed my Wellbeing Coach training with Well College Global. I was awarded a Triple Certificate including an NHS-approved Level 5 Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching.

Whatever comes next, I hope sharing my work in creative communications and wellbeing coaching will help more of us celebrate simple pleasures and positive ideals, every day.
