Nourish Neuks
(in real life)
neuk (noun) : Scots word for nook; a cosy little corner or a small, safe area; a secluded, hidden, sheltered place
Finding inspiration online is one thing but getting out there and having nourishing experiences - in real life - it is what it’s all about! So, if you’re close by, feel free to join us for Nourish Neuks - upcoming dates listed below. You’ll also find below a wee directory celebrating some of the people and places I’ve encountered in little pockets of the real world, in my own community, and beyond. I’ve found they help to nourish wellbeing in various ways: with invitations to experience life beyond our screens; support physical and mental health; feel the positive impact of communing with each other, and investing time in nature. If you feel inspired, click on a link and see where it takes you…

Feast on a celebration of nourishment, community + wellbeing
Time: 1030am-12pm
Date: TBCWhat is it? Monthly pop-up socials hosted in living rooms, back gardens. parks, beaches, in cosy cafes or other inspiring spaces. The gatherings naturally evolve but here’s a flavour:-
60 Second Sound Bites: With a different theme at each gathering, I share 3 super quick lessons I’m exploring as a ‘forever student’ of nutrition, health and wellbeing coaching.
Feel-Good Conversations: Just go with the flow or pick up on the Sound Bites theme and explore wellbeing challenges or experiences. Sharing is totally optional.
Book Neuk Debrief: notes from our wellbeing book of the month - reading optional.
Coaching with Cards: one-to-one, we can break away from the main conversation and tap into your own wellspring of wisdom using themed ‘Healing Waters’ guidance cards as prompts to evoke reflection, intuition, and clarity. Intended to be fun, uplifting and a chance to dip your toes in the water of wellbeing coaching.
And Breathe. This pop-up social intends to offer a relaxing pocket of calm and you’ll hopefully leave feeling more energised and inspired for daily life.
BYO: Unless at a cafe or otherwise advised, please bring your own refreshments/bites/picnic.
Cost: Unless specified, events are free to attend. If in a cafe, please buy a drink as a contribution to host venue.
