Verified Human

I found a cool initiative today. @verifiedhumanhq invites creatives who produce human-made content (writers, voiceover artists, photographers, artists etc) to sign up to a global certification standard.

AI technology is tough to escape but I’ve formally signed the Verified Human commitment to share only my real voice and words with the world.

I believe imperfectly human creativity is the antithesis of AI, an invention that down-cycles real art and undermines natural intelligence, with an unquenchable thirst that literally pollutes wells and sucks up the life force upon which all real life depends: water. Like ultra processed food, AI can seem convenient, even desirable, but over time it leaves us malnourished.

So I want to stay tapped into the wellspring of creativity that makes each of us who we are, as individuals, and keeps us connected to the inimitable source of our collective and interconnected humanity.

Choosing human-made might cost us more time or money and human creativity may not always be perfectly efficient, polished, trending, algorithm or shareholder friendly, but so what. It comes from our soul and like water, like it or not, we can’t truly live without it.✨💕
